What is GiL and how does it works? is their a website that can tell me more about it and how to use it, or is it possible that you can send me some

instructions, thank you

Answer

GIL stands for GALILEO Interconnected Libraries and refers to the library's catalog.  GIL can be searched by navigating your web browser to https://gil.fvsu.edu.  You can use the keyword search box on the GIL home page to search for materials or if you have a specific book or author in mind, you may want to click on the Exact Search tab on the home screen, where you can select the radio button to correspond to your search (author, title, subject heading, ISBN, etc.) and enter your search terms.

In addition to GIL, the library also provides a library search engine called Summon, which searches all of the materials in the library, as well as many of the library's electronic journals.  You can search summon by pointing your browser to http://library.fvsu.edu/search.  Summon works much like Google and is very easy to use.
