How can I obtain a user name and password in order to search Accessible Archives or another database?

Answer

All of the library's electronic resources are authenticated using the GALILEO password.  No username is required.  The best way to access the library's electronic databases, such as Accessible Archives, is through GALILEO.  If you are accessing databases via GALILEO while connected to the FVSU network, you should not be prompted for a password.  If you are attempting to access databases off campus, you'll need the current GALILEO password, which can be obtained from your online library account (see links below.)

Some scholarly content may show up on the "regular" web or in Google Scholar.  If you are off campus, this content may be inaccessible to you or difficult for you to access.  For these reasons, we recommend that you go directly to GALILEO to access the library's databases.
